Family Divers or how to enjoy the island vibes I went to Maldives with a booked liveaboard safari, but I wanted to experience the live at a local island. Therefore I decided to spend 4 days with Family Divers at the local island of Rasdhoo. As the name indicates, this is a family. As solo traveler I felt immediately integrated in a community that is passionate about diving. Every single dive was thoughtfully planed to get the most of it. The boat was great as was the equipment. The team was very friendly and helpful with every aspect of my stay. If you are looking to dive at a local island, don´t look further. Para repetir! Experiencia increíble de principio a fin. Todo estuvo perfectamente organizado, el alojamiento genial y las inmersiones espectaculares. Experiencia increíble en rasdho Increíble experiencia!! Bucear en Rasdho con ellos a sido de los mejores o sino el mejor buceo que e echo .. Magical week in Rashdoo Second year in a row that I’ve spent a week diving with Family Divers in Rasdhoo, and once again it was an excellent experience. They are highly professional, both in terms of diving operations in the area and overall organization. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently, which made the week perfect. A big plus is that they offer Nitrox, something that isn’t easy to find in Rasdhoo. The guest house is very comfortable, but what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere—they make you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. Amazing diving experience in Maldives Second time booking with Family Divers for Rasdhoo, and they never disappoint! The dives are specticular, the boat is spacious and in good condition, but most importantly the crew! An unforgettable diving experience with Family Divers Maldives From the very first message to the last wave goodbye, our time with Family Divers Maldives was simply exceptional. The planning was thoughtful, professional, and completely seamless. Every detail was carefully organized, allowing us to fully relax and simply enjoy the anticipation. When we arrived at the ferry terminal on Rasdhoo by speedboat, we were warmly welcomed by the team. They even brought an electric vehicle to transport our luggage — such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel cared for and looked after. What truly sets Family Divers Maldives apart is the heartfelt, family-like atmosphere. The team treats one another — and every guest — with genuine warmth, kindness, and respect. You can feel that this is not just work for them, but something they truly love doing. The diving was simply spectacular. Every single day we saw sharks — an absolute dream! On top of that, we encountered numerous stingrays, elegant eagle rays, majestic manta rays, and beautiful sea turtles. Each dive felt vibrant, full of life, and perfectly guided. A huge highlight is that dives are conducted in very small groups — usually just four divers plus one guide. Even more impressive is the care taken to ensure that divers are grouped according to their experience level and personal wishes. This thoughtful matching creates a relaxed, harmonious atmosphere underwater and allows everyone to enjoy the dive exactly the way they hope to. It makes a remarkable difference in both safety and overall enjoyment. The guides are highly professional, attentive, and always ready to adapt plans to individual preferences. You feel supported at every moment. The dive boat is spacious and extremely comfortable, offering plenty of room for everyone, as well as a shower and toilet on board — a real luxury that makes long dive days even more enjoyable. The crew is organized, friendly, and always attentive. The accommodation was excellent: clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Upon arrival, we received detailed explanations not only about diving logistics but also about life on the island — the best restaurants, where to exchange money, where to shop, and what to explore. This personal introduction made everything feel easy and welcoming from the start. Rasdhoo itself is charming and relaxed, with delicious restaurants and lovely little shops that invite you for an evening stroll. It offers the perfect balance between authentic island life and laid-back holiday vibes. Another point worth highlighting: the prices are absolutely fair and very reasonable for the outstanding quality, personal service, and small group experience you receive. The value for money is truly exceptional. It was such an extraordinary experience that we have already decided to return next year — and this time we will join their liveaboard to discover even more of the Maldives. If you are looking for breathtaking dives, incredible marine life, thoughtful organization, heartfelt hospitality, and excellent value, Family Divers Maldives is the place to be. ¡Sin duda son ellos si vas a Rashdoo! ¡Sin duda son ellos si vas a Rashdoo! Me he sentido como en casa. El trato con la gente, el buen ambiente con todos los huéspedes, los instructores, los buceos, la sensación que te transmiten cuando te hablan del océano. ¡Uau todo! Todas sus instalaciones son muy agradables. El barco muy cómodo y el personal super amable, los equipos de buceo bien cuidados, las inmersiones espectaculares, las cenas en la Guesthouse geniales, te permiten conocer gente incluso si no te alojas en el mismo centro. Todas las dudas que puedas tener te las resuelven en un plis. Te ayudan en todo. ¡Un 10! Los grupos de buceo perfectos, van por niveles así que puedes disfrutar perfectamente de las inmersiones. Hicimos dos cada mañana, y puedes pedir hacer extra (siempre que haya mínimo) de tarde o nocturna. Yo hice las dos y salí encantada. Iba para pasar un día con ellos y me quedé diez. Me saqué el curso de Deep y Nitrox y lo disfruté muchísimo. Me he ido con mil ganas de volver. Julia y Lalo un encanto de personas (sorry por llevaros locos con buceo arriba, buceo abajo :)) super amables en todo momento, lo hicieron todo super fácil. Me gustó compartir tiempo con ellos fuera del agua también. Con Bruno aunque puede bucear poco, me sentí super tranquila y segura debajo del agua. Y Marc, desprende pasión por el buceo. Se le ilumina la cara cada vez que te habla del océano y todo lo que habita en él. Después del primer día de inmersión a solas con él fue cuando decidí sacarme el curso con Family Divers. La tranquilidad, seguridad y conexión que me transmitió desde el minuto uno dentro y fuera del agua hicieron que me quedara a disfrutar día tras día de todo lo que nos regaló el mar durante todo el tiempo que estuve ahí. Willkommen in der Familie Von Anfang bis Ende, von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme per Mail bis zur herzlichen Verabschiedung am letzten Tag: es war perfekt!
